PRPC 5.3 introduces some enhancements to how you customize the Application Explorer. These enhancements make it easier to find rules quickly and easily.

To access the Application Explorer configuration options, go to Edit > Preferences.

A popup window opens. Select View > Customize App Explorer. Here you can set general defaults, such as whether to default to a specific workpool or to the top-level class of the current workpool. You can also set specific defaults for each individual workpool you work with.

You can set the default class, as well as additional RuleSets to include, when showing the list of rules in your Application Explorer. This is helpful when working frequently with rules that are not part of the application RuleSet list or when most of your work occurs within a specific class inside your workpool.
