Displaying a block of text in a question page

Display a block of read-only text on a question page in a survey to provide supporting information that helps users provide answers more quickly.

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click ConfigureCase ManagementSurvey.
  2. Create the block of text.
    1. On the Questions tab, click Create questionBrowse all typesSingle answerInfo text.

      Although users cannot respond to a block of read-only text in a survey, you must create a question to store the text.

    2. In the Name field, enter a unique label for the question.
    3. In the Question text field, enter the content for the block of text.
    4. Click Save.
  3. Add the question to a question page in your survey.
    1. On the Surveys tab of the Survey Management landing page, click the name of a survey.
    2. Click a question page in the survey.
    3. Click + Add questionFrom library.
    4. Click + Add next to the question that defines the block of text, and then click Add.
  4. Click Save survey.
What to do next:

You can change the position of the block of text by reordering the questions on the question page.
