Pega Academy content status meanings

Authors in Pega Academy, need a way to accurately reflect the lifecycle of each mission component, including the mission itself.  Using the content status stages helps to provide this visibility to all relevant parties.

Draft

Authors are creating and developing content in the draft stage.Content author or content contributor is needed to create content in Pega Academy
Peer ReviewAfter content has been added to Pega Academy, obtaining feedback from peers, SMEs, and learners to validate content effectiveness is the next step. Does the material align with the learning objectives of the module? Does the material support the overarching goal of the mission?  Is anything missing?

Content reviewer roles need to be assigned to any reviewers who need to access the unpublished material.

Peer RevisionAfter the reviewers provide suggested feedback to improve the material, authors, in this stage, take the time to update the existing content with the recommendations, if needed.Content author or content contributor is needed to create content in Pega Academy
Editor ReviewAfter the feedback is incorporated into the content, the revisions are made, and all adjustments are done, the content is final. Only submit content for copy editing when the content is complete and final.  The Community COE reviews the final copy for grammar, spelling, and Pega style.  Content editor (Community COE)
Editor RevisionAfter the Community COE copyedits the content, the editors will send you back a list of changes that they made and changes that you still need to make.  Make the required changes in this stage.  Only make the required changes.  Do not add more content now that the final copy edit is done.Content author or content contributor is needed to make revisions to the content in Pega Academy
Stakeholder Review The content has been assembled, reviewed, and edited.  The content is almost ready for publication. The stakeholder for the content must provide their approval before the publication review can take place.Content reviewer roles need to be assigned to any reviewers who need to access the unpublished material, including Stakeholders.
Publisher ReviewStakeholder approval was granted.  The content has been assembled and goes back to the Community COE for a technical review of the finished package to ensure all assessments are configured properly, all links are working, member-type access, configuration settings, tags, and badge are set.Content editor (Community COE)
Pending PublicationAll reviews - content, copyedit, and technical - are completed and the content is final and ready to be published.Content publisher (Community COE)
PublishedThe content is published and available to the Pega Academy community based on the member-type access set.N/A
UnpublishedN/AContent publisher (Community COE)
ArchivedThe content is archived and no longer updated.  Progress is no longer calculated, Pega Cloud instances are disabled, and badges are no longer awarded.Content administrator and Super admin can archive.
