Kafka data instances

You can use this data instance to create a client connection between Pega Platform and an external Apache Kafka server or a cluster of servers.

Kafka data instances are referenced in Kafka data sets.

Access

From the navigation panel, click RecordsSysAdminKafka, to list, open, or create instances of the Data-Admin-Kafka class.

Category

Kafka data instances are part of the SysAdmin category.

  • Creating a Kafka configuration instance

    To manage connections to your Apache Kafka server or cluster of servers that is the source of your application stream data, configure a Kafka configuration instance in the Pega Platform Data-Admin-Kafka class.
