Understanding deploy artifact pipelines

Updated on December 13, 2021

Use a deploy artifact pipeline to deploy an existing artifact that another pipeline created and validated. You can also deploy an artifact that one Deployment Manager instance generated to another Deployment Manager instance, for example, when there are two different Deployment Manager instances in the production and non-production environments.

The following video demonstrates deploying artifact pipelines.

For more information about creating deploy artifact pipelines, see Creating a deploy artifact pipeline.

If you are new to Deployment Manager, see Installing or upgrading Deployment Manager 5.x to get started.
