High Performance and Scale: What's New in Pega 7

Updated on September 10, 2021
high-performance

Bring an enhanced user experience to your customers and developers with Pega's greater speed and responsiveness. Lightweight lists reduce unnecessary system processing, and new alerts help you identify opportunities for performance improvement.

Minimize processing with lightweight lists.

Building on previous PRPC enhancements to list processing, lightweight lists support additional capabilities. The system identifies instances where lists are copied to a clipboard page in a manner that is inefficient and, in PRPC 7.1, is no longer necessary. Introduced in PRPC 6.2 SP2, lightweight lists have been enhanced to support write operations and other capabilities.

Performance alerts notify developers about less-than-optimal system processing or situations where performance may inhibited. Pega 7 introduces a set of new alerts that can direct developers to operations that may benefit from development modifications. A set of alerts for asynchronous data page processing can help you enhance performance.
