DCO 6.1, included with Process Commander Version 6.1, adds the following features and enhancements to the previously released suite of capabilities.

Process Discovery

Project teams can now initiate process discovery in a visual and dynamic manner during the information gathering stage of a project by creating a Discovery Map. Available in both the Application Profiler and Application Accelerator this flexible mapping tool captures high level processing steps in business terms and serves as a visual inventory of the steps organized by processes and sub processes.

Behind each shape on the map, users can provide detailed use case and related requirements to implement the step.

When a profile is complete and you run the Accelerator, the steps in the map are translated into the shapes of the draft starting flow diagrams.

Automatic Link Generation

When an application is created or updated using the Application Accelerator, Use Case and Requirement links are now generated for the flow and flow shapes they reference. In prior releases, you had to manually link them.

Improved Wizard Navigation

The user interface of the Application Profiler, Application Accelerator, and DCO Application Enablement Wizard have been streamlined to enable users to perform common actions at any point during the process through an Actions List menu.
