You can quickly create an application by using the New Application wizard. This wizard allows you to extend an existing application by selecting an application type that is installed in your environment or build a new application by using the Custom option. When you extend an existing application, the wizard combines the information that you specify with settings that have been defined for the selected application type to generate a new application. The wizard clones the access groups and associated roles listed on the Application wizard tab of the Application rule form for the selected application type.

After you select an application type, you select the case types and data types to include, and provide other configuration information.
