Improve system administration and troubleshooting with Pega APIs

The new Pega APIs for system management support end-to-end troubleshooting and administrative operations that were available in the System Management Application (SMA), which has been removed from Pega Platform™.

The APIs include the following functions:

  • Requestors API for getting the requestor list and starting, stopping, and interrupting requestors
  • Reports API for accessing reports such as log usage, conclusion cache, MRU cache, and property reference reports
  • APIs for managing Pega Platform on Pega Cloud
  • API for obtaining a thread dump

In addition to the new APIs, new privileges allow you to control which users have access to individual APIs.
