The Pega Foundation for Insurance does not fully use all 8.8 case management features, but the existing work types are maintained for backward compatibility to earlier releases of the Pega Foundation for Insurance application. In previous releases, the new business processes were built in Pega Foundation for Insurance. However, all future case management functionality for new business will be implemented in Pega Underwriting for Insurance.

You can still explore the old flows and processes which are all built in the PegaIns-Work- Application classes; however, we strongly recommend utilizing Pega Underwriting for Insurance if looking to build a new business/underwriting solution.
