Editing a dynamic system setting

Updated on April 5, 2022

You can change the default value of a dynamic system setting.

For example, you may want to disable encryption and authentication among search nodes. To do so, you can edit the default value of the indexing/distributed/enable_inter_node_encryption dynamic system setting.
  1. In the navigation panel, click RecordsSysAdminDynamic System Settings.
  2. Use the filter to find the setting that you want to update.
  3. Click the row of the setting that you want to update.
  4. Change the value.
  5. Click Save.
