"Flow does not exist" error when clicking on Params button

Updated on March 24, 2008

Symptom

After running the Create a Component wizard, you can open the RuleSet Version form for that component RuleSet and see the structures created by the wizard.

If you click the Params button for any listed flows or activities, the system opens the Flow Parameters dialog box and display an error:

Flow does not exist."

This error appears even though the flow rule does exist, and you can find it with the Advanced Search tool.

Solution

Resolution

This occurs because the new component RuleSet version is not included to your Application RuleSet list.

You must reference the component RuleSet to the component section of a application rule, so you can build and test your component.  After you do this, you can see your flow or activity and its parameters.
