OPS0028: Agent status issues: agent status information is outdated

Suggest edit Updated on August 27, 2020

Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud™ (PDC) generates the OPS0028 event when an agent appears to be running incorrectly because the agent's status snapshot is outdated.

Reason for the event

Pega Platform™ sends agent status information periodically to PDC. PDC analyzes this information, and if the status snapshot of an agent is outdated, PDC generates an OPS0028 event and creates an AgentState case for each agent that has these issues.

You can receive a notification for each occurrence of this event by subscribing to the Agent status issues notification.

Example message text

Stale snapshot for agent status. Last status received on 20190502T193410.051 GMT.

Recommended next steps

To resolve an issue with an agent that has outdated status information, ensure that the Push Agents Information agent is working correctly.

Use Admin Studio to check the status of the Push Agents Information agent:

  1. If the agent's status is Exception, restart the agent. For more information, see Managing agents.
  2. If restarting the agent does not resolve the issue, gather the relevant log data and contact Global Client Support.
