Creating a fast-track change request in Pega 1:1 Operations Manager

Updated on June 29, 2022

Use fast-track change requests to address high-priority business needs efficiently. A fast-track change request provides a mechanism to quickly deploy urgent changes, without disrupting revisions that are in progress.

Pega 1:1 Operations Manager Documentation Center
Fast-track change requests are created by operators with the FastTrackRevisionManager access group, and addressed by operators with the FastTrackStrategyDesigner access group. The requests must be initiated from the Revision Management overlay application. Only one fast track change request can be active in the system at a time.
Important: Do not use same action rule in a fast-track change request and a standard Pega 1:1 Operations Manager change request. Fast-track changes are isolated from the standard change requests.
  1. Log in to Pega Customer Decision Hub as a user with the RevisionManager access group.
  2. Create a fast-track change request.
For more information, see Resolving fast-track change requests.
Note: Because your application stack includes Pega 1:1 Operations Manager, the option to convert a normal change request to fast track is not available. However, you are still able to create new fast-track change requests.
