Pega Call in Pega Customer Service

This content applies only to On-Premises Services environments.

Pega Call is available as a component of Pega Customer Service.

When you install Pega Customer Service, Pega Call is installed automatically. Therefore, if you want to use Pega Call in Pega Customer Service, there is no need to install Pega Call separately.

Attention: Do not install Pega Call independently if you installed Pega Customer Service.

When you use Pega Call within Pega Customer Service, ensure that both these applications are always on the same patch release version. When you update one of these applications, you need to update the other one as well.

For example: If your Pega Call version is 8.6.3, then your Pega Customer Service version needs to also be 8.6.3.
