Configuring the Development environment

Start your implementation by deploying Pega Customer Decision Hub and Pega 1:1 Operations Manager in the Development environment.

The following diagram represents the application layers that Pega Customer Decision Hub application depends on. The upper layers inherit features from a lower layer.

Pega Customer Decision Hub application stack
First layer contains Pega provided applications CDH and Operations Manager with you implementation and overlay applications built on them
Your Pega Customer Decision Hub overlay application
The overlay application contains all the decisioning artifacts that a business operations team can change. This includes artifacts that are part of Pega Customer Decision Hub implementation layer and that are selected in Pega Customer Decision Hub overlay creation process.
Your Pega Customer Decision Hub implementation application
This is your extended Pega Customer Decision Hub application. This layer includes extensions and customizations of the out-of-the-box features of Pega Customer Decision Hub, such as the components that extend the implementation application for the communications and financial industries.
Your Pega 1:1 Operations Manager extension application
This application contains all the extensions and overrides that you made to the base Pega Customer Decision Hub application.
Pega Customer Decision Hub
This layer contains the out-of-the-box features of Pega Customer Decision Hub.
Pega 1:1 Operations Manager
This layer contains the out-of-the-box features of Pega 1:1 Operations Manager.
