Updated on September 15, 2022

Self-Optimizing Campaigns automate the process of splitting a campaign into a series of waves and leveraging the power of adaptive analytics to automatically learn which actions appeal to your customers the most.

Pega Customer Decision Hub
Note: Starting in Pega Customer Decision Hub version 8.7, this functionality is considered deprecated and may be removed in future versions of the product. For more information, see Updating from previous versions of Pega Customer Decision Hub.

By continuously monitoring and applying the learning from previous waves to the next wave, Self-Optimizing Campaigns deliver incremental lift and improved outcomes across the entire campaign.

  • Creating a Self-Optimizing Campaign (deprecated)

You cannot create new Self-Optimizing Campaigns from the landing page in the Pega Customer Decision Hub version 8.7. However, for the existing Self-Optimizing Campaigns the Save-as option will still work.

  • Self-Optimizing Campaign Configuration

Marketers can start configuring the Self-Optimizing Campaign right from the Create a campaign screen. Once the Campaign has been created, they can use the Edit button to go into edit mode and make further updates to the Campaign configurations.
