PreDisplayArticleExtension is not getting called in 8.4.

User facing issue where PreDisplayArticleExtension is an extension activity which is called in CSLoadSelectedArticle activity. This activity in customized into their application in 7.4 in which it didn't have a precondition to get called in CSLoadSelectedArticle. Now user have upgraded application to 8.4 and user have a precondition in CSLoadSelectedArticle to call PreDisplayArticleExtension. This when condition is failing and extension properties are not getting set. This when condition was added in CS layer to support some OOTB use cases.

Disabling the search option in a CS data source did not prevent a data source query.

Branch development not activating.

This issue is related to an unlocked Pega OOTB ruleset from CSSample in the customers application stack, which the customer didn’t have the ‘lock’ password for, and prevented branch development. The solution moved the open ruleset into the implementation application with the highest ruleset version which is locked.

Failed to lookup view provision.html in views directory.

The reported behavior is with the use of relative path being used for accessing files in the views folder in the server.js file. They are using a service to start the chat server. With that and relative path (server.js), provision.html file was not getting accessed in the view’s directory.
