Pega Customer Service 8.5.4

Pega Customer Service 8.5.4 includes fixes for customer-reported or internally-identified issues.

Note:
  1. This patch requires Pega Platform version 8.5.5 or later.
  2. Depending on the Pega Platform version that you are using, you might have to contact your Pega representative and ask for a hotfix:
    • If you are using the Pega Platform version 8.5.4, ask for HFIX-81524.
    • If you are using the Pega Platform version 8.5.5, ask for HFIX-82021.
    • No hotfix is required for Pega Platform versions above 8.5.5.

INC-198786In a chat session, when the wifi drops, a message is displayed in Pega that the network is down 'We are trying to reconnect your chat...'. The chat window message field is disabled. When Wifi connectivity is restored, the message is not deleted, and the chat window stays blocked. This issue is now resolved by modifying the updateOnlineStatus() in ChatEventHandlerForDC.js rule.
