Configuring queue processors

Updated on March 16, 2021

To ensure optimal performance, specify the number of threads per node for the Voice AI queue processors.

Pega Customer Service Implementation Guide

Voice AI uses the TranscriptProcessor and TranscriptArchiver queue processors to process and archive transcripts. To ensure maximum parallel processing, configure the number of threads to 20 divided by the number of background processing nodes in the cluster, rounded up to the next integer.

  1. Verify the number of threads per node for the TranscriptProcessor queue processor:
    1. In the navigation pane of Admin Studio, click ResourcesQueue processors.
    2. Select the TranscriptProcessor queue processor.
    3. Verify that the value in the Number of threads per node field matches your requirements.
  2. Verify the number of threads per node for the TranscriptArchiver queue processor:
    1. In the navigation pane of Admin Studio, click ResourcesQueue processors.
    2. Select the TranscriptArchiver queue processor.
    3. Verify that the value in the Number of threads per node field matches your requirements.
  3. Check in your changes.
