Reassigning a work order in the Pega Field Service Dispatcher portal

As a dispatcher, you can reassign a work order if the field worker can no longer perform the work. In such a scenario, you assign the work order to a different field worker for the same time and date.

Before you begin: Create a work order. For more information, see Creating a work order in the Pega Field Service Dispatcher portal.
  1. In the Pega Field Service Dispatcher portal, to open the work order that you want to modify, perform either of the following actions:

    • Click a work order on the timeline.
    • Click a work order pin on the map.
  2. On the work order page, click Actions.

  3. Click Schedule.

  4. Define a date range.

  5. Click Search to search for the available slots of various field workers in a service territory.

  6. Select the desired slot.

  7. Click Schedule.

Result: The work order status is Dispatched.
