Enabling and configuring scheduling granularity

Updated on May 18, 2018

In the Pega Field Service application, you can define the scheduling granularity from the Field Service Admin portal to help reduce the amount of unutilized time within a schedule. You can also set up scheduling granularity to set the job start time for a field worker.

To enable and configure scheduling start times, complete the following steps.

  1. Log in to the Field Service Admin portal by entering your credentials.
  2. On the navigation pane, click Configuration and then click the Settings tab.
  3. To enable the scheduling granularity capability, select the Enable scheduling granularity check box.
  4. To configure the scheduling start times, select the time interval from the drop-down list that is next to the check box. The job start times can be in 00, 15, or 30-minute intervals.
