Use case 1: Search codes in a code set

This functionality performs a search of selected code group type using specific search criteria (matching string in code group name) and displays the results.

Pega Foundation for Healthcare
To use this functionality, complete the following steps:
  1. If you have imported the Pega Foundation for Healthcare demo application and sample operators as part of installation, log into the application as CodeManager using the password that you specified when you enabled this operator; to enable Pega-provided operators, seeEnabling operators.
    Otherwise, complete the following steps to create a new operator ID:
    1. Log in to Dev Studio by using the operator ID [email protected]and the password that you specified for that operator.
    2. Save a copy of the existing [email protected]operator, and give it a name that identifies it as an CodeManager operator.
    3. Add PegaHealth:CodeGroupManager access group to the new operator record. Click the radio button to the left of the access group to select it as the default access group.
    4. Save the new operator record
    5. Log in as the new operator that you created to launch Code Manager Portal.
  2. Click Code Sets.
    The system displays a pre-configured list of code sets included in the release.

  3. Click the Bill Type code set.
  4. Filter and Search options.

    Filter code set: To filter the search results, click the column level filter list, and provide the filter criteria, for example, admission, and click Apply.

    The system displays codes matching the filter criteria.

  5. Search code set: Enter code or description in textbox provided for search and click Search.

    The system displays codes matching the search criteria.
