Enabling or disabling digital message signing in Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud

Suggest edit Updated on January 19, 2022

With message signing enabled, your system adds an encrypted signature to every message that it sends to Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud™ (PDC) which ensures the identity and integrity of the messages. You can enable or disable this feature at any time.

Note: When you disable digital message signing, you lower the security level of your system.

Before you begin

Make sure that your system is connected to PDC.

Enabling or disabling digital message signing

To configure your system to start or stop digitally sign every message that it sends to PDC, complete the following steps:

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, select Configure > System > Settings > Predictive Diagnostic Cloud.
  2. On the System: Predictive Diagnostic Cloud tab, under the Message signing section, turn the PDC accepts only digitally signed messages switch on or off.
  3. Click Submit.

If the operation is successful, your system starts or stops digitally signing messages.
