Maintenance mode in Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud
When your system undergoes planned maintenance activities, maintenance mode prevents sending unnecessary messages to users. Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud™ (PDC) does not send any notifications about systems for which maintenance mode is active which saves users' time.
When maintenance mode is active, PDC does not send notifications through the following channels:
- SMS
- Notifications API
You can subscribe to the Maintenance mode status notification that informs you about changes that are connected to the maintenance mode. If you subscribe to the notification, PDC notifies you in the following situations:
- Maintenance mode starts.
- Maintenance mode is about to end.
- Maintenance mode end time changes.
PDC sends notifications at the start of every maintenance window. The notification contains the start and end time of the maintenance window and the user that triggered or manually ended the maintenance mode.
