Pega Robot Studio v21 Preview

To safeguard sensitive data and provide a secure environment for the Robotic Automation solutions that you create, Pega Robotic Automation includes encryption, assisted sign-on, credential management, and other security-related features.

Pega Robotic Automation integrates with three security credential providers.

  • BeyondTrust
  • CyberArk
  • a general client credential provider
  • Using the Security Token Service

Use the Pega Robotic Automation Security Token Service (STS) as a minimal version of Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) for authenticating Pega Robot Studio and attended Pega Robot Runtime installations with Pega Robot Manager.

  • Setting up a relying party in AD FS

Use Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) with your Pega Robot Manager and Pega Robot Runtime implementations to implement a claims-based authorization model for providing security and implementing a federated identity. With these features, you can implement single sign-on access to systems and applications across organizational boundaries.
