Pega Package Server and Server Status tool

Updated on April 19, 2023

The Pega Package Server lets you store and retrieve packages (deployment files) from a location that you specify.

When you publish a package from Pega Robot Studio with the Publish to Server option selected, the package is sent to the Pega Package Server and the package metadata is sent to Pega Robot Manager. The package is then downloaded when Pega Robot Runtime starts, based on the credentials that are defined for the Robot Runtime instance.

The Pega Server Status tool provides information about the Pega Package Server and the Pega Robotic Automation Security Token Service (STS). The Server Status tool displays the following information about the Package Server:

  • Server health status
  • Selected configuration options
  • Last 10 log lines
  • List of stored packages
    • List of versions
      • Pega Robot Runtime version

The Server Status tool displays the following information about the Pega Synchronization Server:

  • Server health status
  • List of products
    • Product manifest for each product
    • Product version for each product

The Server Status tool displays the following information about the Security Token Service (STS):

  • Server health status
  • Selected configuration options
  • Last 10 log lines
