Pega Synchronization Server

Suggest edit Updated on December 10, 2021

With the Pega Synchronization Server, you control the software that is downloaded to your desktops. When a new version of a product is released, download and install the product in your test environment on a single, isolated machine. If you choose to take advantage of the new features or the hotfixes in the new version, you then download and import the new version into the product repository. Client machines then download this update as specified in server-side settings for each product.

Use the Pega Synchronization Server to store releases for the following Pega Robotic Automation products:

  • Pega Native Foundation
  • Pega RPA Service
  • Pega Synchronization Engine
  • Pega Robot Runtime

These product bundles are individually packaged within each Robot Runtime release. Download the Robot Runtime releases from Digital Software Delivery. For more information, see Download Pega RPA software.Once downloaded, you can load these bundles into the Pega Synchronization Server product repository.

The Pega Synchronization Server works with the Pega Synchronization Engine, which is the client-side application, to update your Pega Robot Runtime installations. Security is built into the process to ensure that only Pega-certified content is delivered by using this system.
