Configuring Prepare for meeting

Updated on May 10, 2021

As a sales representative or a sales manager, use the meeting briefing and review elements to benefit from proactive business insights, as well as to more quickly access key account intelligence. By using actionable data about a meeting located in the Meeting Insights section on the right side of the meeting screen, you can be well prepared for every meeting and make decisions faster. The insights help sales representatives to prepare for meetings, or can consist of a collection of insights for executives meeting on a regular basis.

Pega Sales Automation Implementation Guide

As a sales representative, create an appointment, and then 24 hours before the meeting the system sends emails to internal attendees with a briefing document as an attachment. The document includes, for example, a summary of the purpose of the meeting, a list of attendees, talking points, insights, and relevant organizational news. To view the briefing document, open an appointment and in the left navigation pane, click View briefing.

After the meeting, use the tailored next best actions either on the dashboard, mobile app home screen, or on the appointment screen to, for example, add meeting attendees that are not yet contacts to your contacts list, or send a Pulse post summarizing the meeting. You can either dismiss a recommendation or click Go to use the next best action recommendation. Meeting insights have 3 categories to better organize the experience: Conversation starter, For your reference, and Potential challenges.

You can also receive push notifications to receive meeting briefings while using the mobile app in the field.
