8.5.1 patch release

8.5.1 feature improvements

Cosmos-based partner relationship management (PRM)In 8.5.1, partner relationship management (PRM) is updated to be used in the Cosmos design system. For more information about the PRM functionality, see Improve collaboration with partners by using Partner Relationship Management.
Mobile application enhancements and offline mode available 

In 8.5.1, you can use native list views inherited from Pega Platform™ for all work objects to support easier and faster application upgrades in the future, as well as, ensure the latest version from Pega Platform with minimal customizations. For more information, see Mobile features overview.

Due to inheriting native list views and other low-code authoring features, the following features are not supported:

  • Home screen with To Do’s, Global Pulse, Appointments, etc. (for example, with multiple data sources)
  • Custom filters (for example, Hot Leads, Contacts Near Me, Opportunities this Quarter, My Organizations)
  • Swipe actions (Follow, Call, Email, Log activity, Add task)
  • Derived attributes on native list views

In the online mobile app, you can create, edit, and view the following cases:

  • Activity
  • Task
  • Individual and business lead
  • Individual and business opportunity
  • Contact.

In addition to the above native list views limitations, when using the app offline, the following features are not supported:

  • Global Pulse and Spaces
  • Contextual Pulse, for example on the work object-level
  • Scanning business cards
  • Follow and Convert Lead actions on Lead Review
  • AI insights, for example, lead ranking
  • Adding photos in the Create lead view.

In the offline mobile app, you can create, edit, and view the following cases:

  • Activity
  • Task
  • Individual and business lead.

When creating a case type, you can now use the Create stage to save your draft work or capture the initial data from the Operator worklist without having to submit that case right away. You can perform the following actions with the Create stage:

  • Save and close the case to modify it later from the Operator worklist
  • Submit a case if no further changes are needed
  • Delete a case to move it to the Resolved-Cancelled status.
