Event group resolution

Updated on August 31, 2021

Multiple claims can be resolved automatically based on event code grouping. Information on Event group configuration can be found in the core configurations section under the Event code groups section.

If a claim is part of an event group, the event resolution screen identifies this, along with the claims that are grouped:

This screen provides a hyperlink to the Event group, the number of matching claims and a hyperlink which opens a report detailing the grouped claims. The matching criteria and values are also displayed.

The resolution action you choose for this claim will be applied to all other claims in the event group.

If the number of claims in the event group is greater than the configured limit, you may be given the option to override the group (if your role allows). If the override is not selected, or not available, then the remaining claims in the event group will be used to create a mass reprocess job to be scheduled and subsequently processed.

Note: In the screenshot above, the number of claims in the group is less than the configured limit, so no override is required or available.
