Copying an event code
The Smart Claims Engine provides the ability to copy an existing event code configuration to simplify the effort to create a new event code. Copying an event code is accomplished by either selecting the Copy action from the event code list or the Actions menu in the Event code information screen.

The copy function will duplicate configuration data, with the exceptions of history, event code number and version, from the event code selected and create a new event code. The event code number will need to be completed and any other changes made. On completion, selecting Submit will send this event code for approval.
