High-level events

Updated on November 10, 2021

Pega Workforce Intelligence™ uses the high-level events (HLE) monitoring feature in Robot Runtime to collect system and application events. This feature is, by default, turned off. Use settings in the DesktopAnalyticsConfig.xml file to turn on HLE monitoring.

Note: For Workforce Intelligence implementations, you control Robot Runtime using the DesktopAnalyticsConfig.xml file. For Pega Robotic Process Automation implementations, you use the RuntimeConfig.xml file to control Robot Runtime.

The system captures basic application events such as launching an application, application gaining or losing focus. The system also captures events such as the entering or exiting an idle state, starting or stopping a screen saver, and locking and unlocking a screen.
