PEGA0053 alert: Data page reload exceeded the frequency threshold

Suggest edit Updated on October 8, 2021

The PEGA0053 alert, "Data page reload exceeded the frequency threshold," indicates that a data page is reloading more frequently than the configured frequency threshold. While creating a data page, you can specify a refresh strategy on the Load Management tab to determine how often you want to reload the data page.

The frequency threshold (per minute) is established in the following prconfig.xml setting:

<env name="datapages/reloadFreqPerMin" value="10" />

Alert message description

The alert indicates that a particular data page is being reloaded frequently, and then displays the average time between two reloads of the data page.

Example of message text

"Data page <data page name> is being reloaded frequently. The average time between reloads was <n> seconds. Consider revisiting refresh strategy."

Next steps

When the alert is triggered, you can carry out any of the following actions to prevent the alert from being triggered again.

  • Change the refresh strategy of the data page. For example, you can select the Do not reload when criteria, and use a When rule that often evaluates to "true".
  • If a frequent data page reload is unavoidable, you can increase the frequency threshold in the prconfig.xml file.

Note: Carrying out these actions do not always prevent the alert from being triggered again.
