Empty properties are not included in snapshot

History records are smaller and more efficient, because empty properties are no longer included in the snapshot. However, as a result, the history snapshot for sections might present a distorted view of the section.

The worklist appears to be empty when you go back from an opened case in an offline-enabled mobile application

In a Pega^® Platform offline-enabled application, when you go back to the worklist from an opened case, the worklist appears to be empty even though it contains cases. This issue will be fixed in the next release of Pega Platform. Only portals that use the key principles and design of the pyCaseWorker portal are supported in offline-enabled applications.

Browser unresponsive when logging in to Designer Studio

The What's new in 7.4 widget on the Designer Studio home page uses WebGL to render its background animation. If your browser is running on a virtual machine without hardware acceleration, your browser might become unresponsive because of this widget. Click the Hide this until next release button to remove the widget. At your next login, the widget will not be displayed.

For Microsoft SQL Server deployments, change settings to create data types in Integration Designer

For on-premises deployments that use Microsoft SQL Server, set the Pega-Reporting/reporting/useMergeHintForRRquery dynamic system setting to true. If you do not configure this setting, you might not be able to create a new data type in Integration Designer that uses Pega as the system of record. Configure the setting as follows:

• Owning ruleset: Pega-Reporting
• Setting purpose: reporting/useMergeHintForRRquery
• Value: true

Data entered in a new harness is lost after a sync operation

If you create a case in an offline-enabled application and enter data in a new harness, this data is lost after you click Submit and the sync operation takes place. For more information, see Offline capability and Enabling offline support for cases.
