You should avoid using deprecated rules; they no longer follow recommended development practices and may not be supported in a future release. Use supported alternatives.
When you open a rule that references a deprecated rule instance, you see a warning populated by contents of the Usage field. For example, you are warned when you open an activity that calls a deprecated integration rule, or a data transform that sets a deprecated property.
When you save as or specialize a deprecated rule, the status remains Deprecated.
