Managing a case attachment stored in a CMIS repository

At run time, you can manage versions of a case attachment that is stored in a CMIS repository in the Attachments section. The system uses a Gear icon next to the name of the attachment to identify such case attachments.

  1. Click the Gear icon next to the name of the attachment.
  2. In the Manage attachment window, the file attachment details such as the name, category, description, and version history are displayed. Download the current or an earlier version by clicking the file name for the appropriate version in the Version history section.
    Note: To prevent other users from modifying the file attachment, select Lock this attachment for local editing.
  3. Check in a new version of the file by clicking Upload new version and optionally add a comment.

    The new version now appears in the Version history section.

    Note: To remove a version of a case attachment, click the Delete icon in the row of the version.
