Processes in a stage

A process in a stage is a flow, or a sequence of events, that models a business process. By adding processes to a stage, you can define the paths that users take as they move a case through its life cycle.

Each process has one or more steps. The type of steps and settings that you choose depend on the purpose of your process and how the process relates to other processes in the stage. For complex configurations, such as alternate paths or advanced step types, you can update the underlying flow diagram for the process. This technique is called process modeling.
