Configuring a work queue for robotic automation

You can configure a work queue for use by robotic process automation (RPA). A robotic work queue is used to distribute assignments to a virtual machine (VM). For more information, see Robotic process automation.

  1. In the Explorer panel, click Records > Organization > Work queue and select the work queue that you want to modify.
  2. On the Work queue tab, in the General section, from the Type list, select Robotic to indicate that this is a robotic automation work queue.
  3. In the Maximum queue length field, enter the maximum number of assignments that are allowed in the work queue at any time.
  4. In the Maximum automation execution time (seconds) field, enter the amount of time that the VM is expected to take to run the automation that is specified on an assignment in this work queue.
