Groups & Roles

Authorizations are granted based on a user's access group, not the role. The most permissive role in the access group determines the level of authorization for the access group.

Access the Groups & Roles landing page by clicking Configure > Org & Security > Groups & Roles.

  • The Access Groups tab displays a list of Data-Admin-Operator-AccessGroup instances. The table lists the access groups in the system and the number of operators associated with each access group.
    Note: Even if an access group is not referenced by any operator ID instance, it is still required for security configuration.
  • The Access Roles tab displays a list of Rule-Access-Role-Name rules for the current application. On this tab, you can view, add, and remove roles.
