Managing relevant records

Manage your relevant records to consolidate records that are specific to your cases and data types. Marking records as relevant can reduce time-consuming searching through unrelated records in your cases.

  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > Application > Inventory > Relevant Records.
  2. In the Class Name field, enter the class of a case type or data type, based on how you plan to use the rule.
    By default, only active relevant records for the selected class are displayed.
  3. Do any of the following actions:
    • To display inactive records for the specified class, select the Show inactive relevant records for the class check box.
    • To mark a record as active or inactive for the selected class, click the Actions icon on the rightmost side of the row.
    • To display records that are inherited from the hierarchy of the specified class, select the Show inherited relevant records for the class check box.
      Note: The Mark relevant at column shows at which class level the particular record is marked as relevant.
    • To mark an inherited record from another class as active or inactive for the selected class, click the Actions icon on the rightmost side of the row.
