Automatically upgrading your application

To automatically make your existing applications compatible with the new version of Pega Platform, use the Update Existing Applications utility.

The Update Existing Applications utility lists the recommended actions and estimated time for each.

1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > System > Release > Upgrade > Update Existing Applications.
2. The Update Existing Applications utility displays a message explaining whether you need to run the utility. If you are directed to run the utility, click Run.
