MQ Listener form – Completing the MQ Properties tab

Use the MQ Properties tab to set up the MQ configuration options for the listener, including the queue names and queue manager.

Listener Nodes and Listener Properties

Field Description
Request  
Queue Manager Optional. Enter the name of the WebSphere queue manager for the queue. If left blank, the system uses the default queue manager for the specified queue.

This field supports the Global Resource Settings syntax (= PageName.PropertyName ). The default property name for this field is pyRequestQueueManager. For more information, see Using the Global Resource Settings feature.

Queue Name Enter the name of the WebSphere MQ queue this listener monitors.

Click Message Explorer to display a list of MQ messages, add a message, or remove a message.

Reply To  
Preference Select to set the response queue.
  • Message (default) to use the response queue name from the incoming message.
  • Listener to use the response queue name from the Queue Name field in the Reply To section.
  • No Reply to not allow the listener to send a reply.
