Auto-incrementing app version

When you build a custom mobile app for the Android or the iOS platform from the Channels and interfaces form, you can automatically increment the third digit number of the release version by one, as displayed in the Version field, with each iteration. Incrementing the third digit number of a release version is useful during development and testing stages, so that you can compare different iterations of the custom mobile app or SDK mobile app. When this option is enabled, the version automatically increments each time you click Build now or Build again, for example, from 2.3.0 to 2.3.1 .
Navigate to the mobile channel.
  1. On the Build your application panel for iOS or Android, expand the Advanced section.
  2. Select Auto-increment version with each build.
  3. Click Save.
