Configuring a custom mobile app

After you create a Pega Platform application, you take the following steps to build a custom mobile app. Each of the steps links to the corresponding procedure. You can build multiple custom mobile apps for both mobile platforms, Android and iOS.

1. Navigate to the mobile channel.
2. Optional: Configure the offline support.
3. Optional: Configure the security settings.
4. Optional: Configure branding and layout.
5. Optional: Configure the native search.
6. Optional: Configure push notifications support.
7. Optional: Configure the advanced features.
8. Optional: Configure the debugging options.
9. Optional: Fine tune the custom mobile app by setting properties that are not directly available in the mobile channel interface. See the Overriding Channels and interfaces form settings with custom parameters Pega Community article.
10. If you are building a custom mobile app for the Android platform, build the app for the Android platform.
11. If you are building a custom mobile app for the iOS platform, build the app for the iOS platform or export an unsigned app for the iOS platform.
