Creating Dynamic System Settings for OAuth 2.0 ROPC authentication for custom mobile apps

When you configure user authentication with OAuth 2.0 tokens, using the Resource Owner Password Credentials (ROPC) authentication flow, you must create several Dynamic System Settings to enable authentication.

  1. In Dev Studio, click Create > SysAdmin > Dynamic System Settings.
  2. In the Short description field, enter one of the setting names, for example, OAuth2/token_endpoint.
For a complete list of required settings, refer to Dynamic System Settings for OAuth 2.0 authentication.
  3. In the Owning Ruleset field, enter the scope of the Dynamic System Setting, for example, Pega-AppDefinition.
  4. In the Setting Purpose field, enter the same value that you entered in the Short description field.
  5. Click Create and open.
  6. In the Value field, enter the value for the setting.
  7. Click Save.
