Defining custom parameters for OAuth 2.0 ROPC authentication for custom mobile apps

When you configure user authentication with OAuth 2.0 tokens, using the Resource Owner Password Credentials (ROPC) authentication flow, you must define several custom properties to enable authentication.

See the Overriding Channels and interfaces form settings with custom parameters Pega Community article.
  1. Obtain the assets.zip file:
    • If you are not uploading modified branding assets, download the branding-assets.zip file.
    • If you have modified branding assets to meet your company's requirements, use the assets.zip file that contains these assets.
For more information, see Preparing custom branding assets.
  2. Download the custom.properties file.
  3. Edit the custom.properties file to define custom parameter values.
For a complete list of available custom parameters, refer to Custom parameters for OAuth 2.0 ROPC authentication for custom mobile apps.
  4. Place the custom.properties file in the root directory of the assets.zip file.
  5. Upload the assets.zip file to Pega Platform.
