Enabling the NLP model training for the Email channel

When you update the natural language processing (NLP) model for a configured Email channel interface, you train the channel to make better predictions about the content of the email conversation in relation to sentiment, text (topic) classification, intent analysis, and entity extraction. You can enable NLP for each configured Email channel interface.

Update the NLP model for a channel by reviewing record items that were saved by Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant or Pega Email Bot.

  1. Edit an Email channel interface and click the Behavior tab.
  2. In the Text Analyzer section:
    • Select Enable model training.
  3. Click Save.
