Enabling offline support for access groups

Pega Platform applications do not automatically support offline mode. When you create an offline-enabled application, you must enable offline support in access groups. An access group is a group of permissions within an application. Enabling offline support in an access group makes sure that users in that access group have permission to work in offline mode in their application.
  1. In the navigation panel of Dev Studio, click Records.
  2. Expand the Security category and then click Access Group.
  3. Double-click the access group.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. In the Offline configuration section, select the Enable offline support check box.
  6. Click Save.
What to do next:

After you log in to a mobile app on a device and enable or disable the offline capability in Dev Studio for the application's access groups, reinstall the mobile app or clear its data for the new settings to take effect.

If your offline-enabled application will use cases in offline mode, you must also configure offline support for its case types.
