Enabling the NLP model training for the Web Chatbot channel

When you update the natural language processing (NLP) model for a configured Web Chatbot channel interface, you train the channel to make better predictions about the content of the chat conversation in relation to sentiment, text (topic) classification, intent analysis, and entity extraction. You can enable this capability for each configured Web Chatbot channel interface.

Update the NLP model for a channel by reviewing record items that were saved by Pega Intelligent Virtual Assistant or Pega Email Bot.

  1. Edit a Web Chatbot channel interface and click the Behavior tab.
  2. In the Text Analyzer section:
    • Select Enable model training.
    • For an advanced configuration, click the Switch to edit mode icon for an advanced text analyzer, and then select Enable model training and click Submit.
  3. Click Save.
